Sap, pitch, tar, and overspray are all removed using the same method, the clay bar. Clay is the second softest abrasive found in nature, skin being the first. The benefit of clay is that it picks up tar, pitch, sap, overspray, and all other contaminants from your vehicles finish without scratching or harming the surface, leaving a perfect surface in which to polish.
Common pitch, tar, sap, and overspray contamination removal is included in both our Complete Dynamic Detail and our Dynamic Express Detail. Unless your vehicle is heavily contaminated, this service is of no additional charge.
