As a mobil auto detailer, I was pressed to come up with a method of cleaning carpet and upholstery that could produce the results an extractor produces. An extractor is a vacuum tool that spray a hot cleaner from a jet that is followed by a very strong suction, removing all dirt, stains, grease, etc. and all cleaning agents as well. The end result is fabric and carpet that smells fresh and feels fresh for a good amount of time. For years I have used an oxygen based cleaner which is supposed to lift the dirt so it can be vacuumed away when dry. The results were always fantastic and my customers always pleased, never had a single complaint. Recently, with the opening of Dynamic Auto Details, and the switch from mobil to stationary has made extraction a part of my arsenal. One of the first vehicles I extracted was my own, mostly out of curiousity to see how dirty my carpet actually was, even though I have kept it clean using mt method for years. The picture below shows what I drained from the extractor after only extracting half of my vehicle!   |
  One thing I did get right is the use of U.V. protectants on leather, vinyl, rubber, and plastic producing a satin finish with no residual gooey mess, no dust attracting cover-up products that dry within a few days, leaving your interior looking worse than before it was cleaned! There is no substitution for a CLEAN surface! |
