For more recent model vehicles, older model vehicles that have glass headlights will not polish up very easily and it is much less expensive to replace those type of headlights.

If your headlight lenses have yellowed or clouded over than they should be restorable.  If you have replaced an entire headlight housing and are hoping to get the older one to match, you're probably out of luck.  Headlight covercls gradually get dirty from the inside as well and c leaning the inside of a headlight housing is next to impossible!

But, if both your headlight have yellowed or clouded over, than matching the two should be pretty simple.
